regarding the Union Ave Bridge
(overpass over Rte 10) closing
The Union Ave Bridge (overpass over Rte 10) is closed for reconstruction. M & J Supply is suggesting the following alternate routes for its customers and vendors.
For customers: If you are traveling to M&J from North, East, or West of Providence, your route is unchanged. The Union Ave exit from Route 10 South is still open. Follow the normal routes in our directions section.
If you are traveling to M&J from the South we suggest the following: Proceed to the exit after the Union Ave exit which is the Westminster street/Olneyville exit. At the end of the ramp turn left and then take another quick left which will put you back onto Route 10 south and exit immediately onto Union Ave.
For Vendors with large trucks: If you are traveling to M&J from North, East, or West of Providence, your route is unchanged. The Union Ave exit from Route 10 South is still open. Follow the normal routes in our directions section.
If
you are traveling to M&J
from the south we suggest
the following: Take exit
11 from Route 95 North
onto 295 North. Take exit
6A from 295 onto Route
6 East. Follow 6 East
and then exit/merge onto
Route 10 South and exit
immediately at Union Ave.
If you enter Route 95
North after exit 11 then
we suggest you take exit
22B from 95 and follow
the signs for Routes 10
and 6. After entering Route
10 South exit immediately
at the Union Ave exit.
Directions to M&J Supply Co
From North: Take Rte 95 South to exit 22B (Routes 10 and 6). After approximately two miles the road will fork. Rte 6 is to the right and Rte 10 is to the left. Stay to the left onto Rte 10 and take your very first exit (Union and Huntington Ave). At the end of the Ramp turn right and M & J Supply is the first building on the right hand side
From South: Take Rte 95 North to exit 16. Bear left off the exit ramp onto Rte 10 North. Follow Rte 10 Approximately two and a half miles to the Union Ave exit. At the end of the ramp turn left and M & J Supply is the first building on the right.
From West: Take Rte 6 East toward Providence. Exit/merge right onto Rte 10 South. Take the very first exit (Union and Huntington Ave). At the end of the exit ramp, turn right onto Union Ave. M & J Supply is the first building on the right.
From East: Take Rte 195 West toward Providence. At the end of 195 bear right at the fork onto Rte 95 North. Take Exit 22B (Routes 10 and 6). After approximately 2 miles the road will fork. Rte 6 is to the right and Rte 10 is to the left. Stay left onto Rte 10 and take your very first exit (Union and Huntington Ave). At the end of the Ramp turn right and M & J Supply is the first building on the right hand.
